          In a press release dated February 28, 2006, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated announced that it opened its 104^th Cheesecake Factory restaurant on February 27, 2006 at the Chesterfield Mall in Chesterfield, Missouri.  The restaurant contains approximately 9,600 square feet and approximately 260 seats.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

          Calabasas Hills, CA – February 28, 2006 – The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated (Nasdaq: CAKE) today announced the opening of its 104^th Cheesecake Factory restaurant on February 27, 2006 in the Chesterfield Mall in Chesterfield, Missouri.  The restaurant contains approximately 9,600 square feet and approximately 260 seats.
