In a press release dated May 5, 2008, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated announced the opening of its 140^th Cheesecake Factory restaurant at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, California on May 2, 2008.  The restaurant contains approximately 11,500 square feet and 330 seats.

Calabasas Hills, CA – May 5, 2008 – The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated (NASDAQ: CAKE) today announced the opening of its 140^th Cheesecake Factory restaurant at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, California on May 2, 2008.  The restaurant contains approximately 11,500 square feet and 330 seats.
