Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure

 

On April 5, 2005, Ampex Corporation (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K to report that on April 5, 2005, Edward J. Bramson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, and Craig L. McKibben, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will make a presentation at an investor conference. This amended Current Report on Form 8-K/A is being filed in order to clarify the material contained in the slide presentation attached as an exhibit to the Current Report on Form 8-K previously filed on April 5, 2005. An updated copy of the slide presentation is attached to this amended Current Report on Form 8-K/A as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 7.01 disclosure.
