Teck Announces Closing of SilverBirch Transaction

Vancouver, B.C. – Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE: TCK) (“Teck”) announced today the closing of the previously announced arrangement under which a wholly owned subsidiary of Teck has acquired all of the outstanding shares of SilverBirch Energy Corporation.
