Teck’s Q2 2011 Financial Results July 28, 2011 and

Investors’ Conference Call July 29 2011

Vancouver, BC – Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE: TCK) will release its second quarter 2011 earnings results on Thursday, July 28, 2011 after markets close.

The company will hold an investor conference call to discuss the second quarter 2011 earnings results at 11:00 AM Eastern time, 8:00 AM Pacific time, on Friday, July 29, 2011. Conference call dial-in at (416) 340-8530, no pass code required. Media are invited to attend on a listen-only basis.
