TECK COMINCO Q3 2007 FINANCIAL RESULTS OCTOBER 29, 2007 and

INVESTORS’ CONFERENCE CALL OCTOBER 30, 2007

Vancouver, BC – Teck Cominco Limited will release its third quarter 2007 earnings results on Monday, October 29, 2007 after markets close.

The company will hold an investor conference call to discuss the third quarter 2007 earnings results at 11:00 AM Eastern time, 8:00 AM Pacific time, on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Media are invited to attend on a listen-only basis.
