TECK COMINCO Q1, 2007 FINANCIAL RESULTS APRIL 23 and

INVESTORS’ CONFERENCE CALL APRIL 24, 2007

Vancouver, B.C. -- Teck Cominco Limited will release its first quarter 2007 results on Monday, April 23, 2007 after markets close.

The company will hold an investor conference call to discuss the first quarter results at 11:00 AM Eastern time, 8:00 AM Pacific time, on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Media are invited to attend on a listen-only basis.
