On March 2, 2006, Avon Products (China) Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Avon Products, Inc. (“Avon China”), announced that it had received notification from China’s Ministry of Commerce on being granted a direct selling business license in China. As a result of receiving the license, Avon China will now roll-out its previously tested single-level direct selling model nationwide.
