10. Financial Information about Geographic Areas

The following table summarizes the Company’s net sales by geographic region for the three months ended March 31, 2022 and 2021:

Net sales by geographic region are based on the countries in which our customers are located.  For the three months ended March 31, 2022 and 2021, the Company generated approximately $474,000 and $2,115,000 respectively, in sales from Canada. No country other than the United States was significant to the Company’s consolidated net sales.

The following table summarizes the locations of the Company’s long-lived assets by geographic region as of March 31, 2022 and December 31, 2021:
