11. Related Party Transactions

The Company uses a law firm whose majority member is also a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. For the three months ended June 30, 2016 and 2015, the Company expensed $25,000 and $124,000, respectively, for legal services from this related party. For the six months ended June 30, 2016 and 2015, the Company expensed $50,000 and $164,000, respectively, for legal services from this related party. As of June 30, 2016 and 2015, the Company’s outstanding balance to this related party was $50,000 and $164,000, respectively.
