On September 7, 2004, Viad Corp (the "Company") issued a press release
announcing that certain union employees of its wholly-owned subsidiary, GES
Exposition Services, Inc., went on strike. A copy of the Company's press release
is attached hereto as Exhibit 99 and is incorporated by reference herein.
