Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 11, 2023, Heather M. Cox notified the Board of Directors of Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation (the “Company”) of her resignation from the Boards of Directors of the Company and its subsidiary, Atlantic Union Bank (the “Bank”), effective July 13, 2023, due to the time commitment and professional responsibilities associated with her new position as President of Sapphire Digital, a division of Zelis, a healthcare payments company. Ms. Cox’s resignation does not relate to any disagreement on matters relating to the Company’s or the Bank’s operations, policies or practices or any other matter.
