Revenue from international sources approximated $495 and $955 for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022, respectively, compared to $585 and $3,008 for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021, respectively. All of this revenue was product revenue.  

 

Our operations comprise a single business segment and all of our long-lived assets are located within the United States. We categorize our revenue stream into three main product categories, Personal Care Ingredients, Advanced Materials and Solésence. The revenues, by category, for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022 and 2021 are as follows:
