(13) Business Segmentation and Geographical Distribution

Revenue from international sources approximated $1,393 and $906 for the years ended December 31, 2015 and 2014, respectively. As part of our revenue from international sources, we recognized approximately $1,339 in product revenue from a number of German companies, in the aggregate, for the year ended December 31, 2015. Revenue from these same international sources approximated $760 for the year ended December 31, 2014.

Our operations comprise a single business segment and all of our long-lived assets are located within the United States.
