TORONTO, Aug. 7, 2014 /CNW/ - Lorus Therapeutics Inc. (TSX: LOR) today announced that William G. Rice, Ph.D., Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, will present at the Canaccord Genuity 34th Annual Growth Conference on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. ET at the InterContinental Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Rice will provide a corporate overview of the Company's recent activities and strategic direction including plans to develop Lorus' lead clinical agent LOR-253 for acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and other hematologic malignancies.
