Licensing Agreements for Medical Technology	12. Licensing Agreements for Medical Technology In October 1996, the Company entered into a License Agreement with MMIT expiring August 2017, covering the further development and commercial exploitation of the Company's medical technology relating to laparoscopic products, which uses high frequency sound waves to coagulate and divide tissue for both open and laparoscopic surgery. The MMIT license provides for exclusive worldwide marketing and sales rights for this technology. The Company receives a 5% royalty on sales of these products by MMIT. Royalties from this license agreement were $1,885,788 and $1,979,026 for the six months ended December 31, 2016 and 2015, respectively.
