BioTime CEO Michael D. West to Present at GTC 2011 5th Advances in Stem Cell Discovery & Development Conference
ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 10, 2011--BioTime, Inc. (NYSE Amex:BTX), a biotechnology company that develops and markets products in the field of regenerative medicine, today announced that Chief Executive Officer Michael D. West, Ph.D. will present at the GTC 2011 5th Advances in Stem Cell Discovery & Development Conference in San Diego, California at 9:10 a.m. PDT on Thursday, October 20, 2011. Dr. West will speak on recent trends in the stem cell industry and BioTime’s strategies in product development. The presentation will be available online at www.biotimeinc.com.
The GTC 2011 5th Advances in Stem Cell Discovery & Development Conference, October 19-21, will feature information regarding cutting-edge developments in all areas of stem cell research including the biology, medicine, applications, regulations, and business of stem cells. The annual conference will address recent developments in pre-clinical and clinical trials of stem cell therapy, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, cancer stem cells, stem cell reprogramming, and regulatory policies regarding stem cell research.
