Investments

As of December 31, 2019, the Company did not have any investments. Prior to December 31, 2019, the Company had invested its excess cash in debt securities, with an average maturity of approximately six months, and were classified as held to maturity within current assets in accordance with Accounting Standards Codification (“ASC”) 320-10, “Investments – Debt and Equity Securities.”
