Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

 

On November 18, 2020, The AES Corporation (“AES” or the “Company”) announced that it intends to hold one or more meetings with potential investors with respect to a proposed offering of senior notes in connection with AES’ green financing framework in a transaction exempt from the registration requirements under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”) (the “Offering”). There can be no assurance that the Company will proceed with the Offering at all or, if the Company elects to proceed with the Offering, the terms thereof.
