4. Earnings per share

Basic earnings per share are based on the weighted average number of shares of all common stock outstanding during the period. Diluted earnings per share are based on the sum of the weighted average number of shares of common stock and common stock equivalents outstanding during the period. The number of basic shares outstanding for the three and six months ended December 31, 2020 and 2019 were 4,013,537.  The number of diluted shares outstanding for the three months ended December 31, 2020 and 2019 were 4,024,952 and 4,013,537 respectively. The number of diluted shares outstanding for the six months ended December 31, 2020 and 2019 were 4,027,788 and  4,013,537 respectively.
