Item 5.07. Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders.
On May 19, 2010, Jones Apparel Group, Inc. (the "Company") held its annual meeting of stockholders. At that meeting, the stockholders elected all of the Company's nominees for director, ratified the selection of BDO Seidman, LLP as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for 2010 and approved an advisory resolution to ratify the compensation of the Company's named executive officers.
