JONES APPAREL GROUP, INC. COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF KASPER A.S.L., LTD.


NEW YORK, NEW YORK
-- December 1, 2003 -- Jones Apparel Group, Inc. (NYSE:JNY) today announced that it has completed its acquisition of 100% of the common stock of Kasper A.S.L., Ltd.
