Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On December 11, 2013, Radisys Corporation (the “Company”) announced that Mr. Amit Agarwal, a named executive officer of the Company, will be stepping down from his position as Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Software-Solutions product group and departing the Company on January 17, 2014. Upon his departure, and subject to certain conditions, Mr. Agarwal will receive an amount of severance and other benefits as provided for in his severance agreement previously filed as Exhibit 10.6 to the Company’s Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
