The table below summarizes the shares of our Common Stock the Company repurchased and the cost of the shares, which were recorded as Treasury Stock. As described in Note 8, effective January 1, 2023 share repurchases, net of issuances, are subject to a 1% excise tax; such amount, if applicable, is recognized as an additional cost of the shares acquired.
