PETROQUEST ENERGY ELECTS NOT TO PROCEED WITH PUBLIC OFFERING OF COMMON STOCK

LAFAYETTE, LA – March 11, 2015 – PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (“PetroQuest” or the “Company”) (NYSE: PQ) announced today that it has elected not to proceed at this time with its previously announced public offering of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock.

The Company determined that proceeding with the offering in light of current market conditions was not in the best interests of its stockholders.
