On November 14, 2006, PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press announcing that on November 10, 2006, the Company closed the sale of its interests in 17 Gulf of Mexico fields for approximately $17 million, subject to customary post-closing adjustments. This press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
