Business Segments and Sales by Product Group
The Company has one reporting segment, which encompasses its interactive digital commerce retailing. The Company markets, sells and distributes its products to consumers primarily through its video commerce television, online website, evine.com and mobile platforms. The Company's television shopping, online and mobile platforms have similar economic characteristics with respect to products, product sourcing, vendors, marketing and promotions, gross margins, customers, and methods of distribution. In addition, the Company believes that its television shopping program is a key driver of traffic to both the evine.com website and mobile applications whereby many of the online sales originate from customers viewing the Company's television program and then placing their orders online or through mobile devices. All of the Company's sales are made to customers residing in the United States. The chief operating decision maker is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
