Pension and Other Postretirement Benefits Disclosure [Text Block]	NOTE 7 – DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLANS We maintain the ProPhase Labs, Inc 401(k) Savings and Retirement Plan, a defined contribution plan for our employees. Our contributions to the plan are based on the amount of the employee plan contributions and compensation. Our contributions to the plan in Fiscal 2012, 2011 and 2010 were $104,000, $88,000 and $90,000, respectively.
