(d)           This report amends information contained in the Form 8-K dated January 3, 2007 filed by Alliant Techsystems Inc. (“ATK”) regarding the election of Mark H. Ronald to ATK’s Board of Directors (the “Board’) effective January 15, 2007.  Specifically, it was previously reported that the Board had appointed Mr. Ronald to the Audit Committee.  In fact, Mr. Ronald continues to serve on the Board but is not serving on the Board’s Audit Committee.
