Compañía de Telecomunicaciones de Chile S.A announces payment of 2005 final dividend

On January 24, 2006, the Company's Board of Directors approved to propose to the General Shareholders Meeting the payment of a final dividend of Ch$14,654,591,912 million, equivalent to Ch$15.31054 per share, to be charged against 2005 net income.

By this payment, the Company complies with its dividend policy which stipulates a 100% distribution of the year net income.
