        Irving Teitelbaum and Stephen Gross retired from the Board of Directors of The Wet Seal, Inc. (the “Company”), each effective as of December 28, 2004. Additionally, the Company’s Board of Directors appointed Joel Waller, the incoming Chief Executive Officer, as a Director, effective as of December 30, 2004.
