BENCHMARK ELECTRONICS REAFFIRMS
GUIDANCE FOR THIRD QUARTER 2003

 

ANGLETON, TX, SEPTEMBER 30, 2003 – Benchmark Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: BHE) announced today that it continues to expect third quarter revenue to be between $445 million and $460 million, with corresponding diluted earnings per share of $0.44 to $0.48.  The Company reaffirmed the third quarter guidance previously provided at the time of the second quarter earnings release on July 24, 2003.

 

Results for the third quarter will be announced on October 23, 2003.  A conference call hosted by Benchmark management will be held at 10:00 am CDT on October 23, 2003 to discuss the financial results of the Company and its future outlook.
