Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

On September 11, 2017, The Travelers Companies, Inc. issued a press release announcing its estimated range of catastrophe losses relating to Hurricane Harvey. The company provided this information in advance of its planned participation at the Barclays Global Financial Services Conference on September 12, 2017.  The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is incorporated by reference in this Item 7.01.
