On October 26, 2023, Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. (the “Company” or “Reliance”) issued a press release announcing financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2023. Attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of the Company’s press release dated October 26, 2023 announcing the Company’s financial results for this period.

On October 24, 2023, James D. Hoffman informed the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) that he has decided to retire from service on the Board and will not stand for reelection to the Board at the 2024 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”). Mr. Hoffman’s decision to retire from the Board is not the result of any disagreement with the Company and he will continue to serve as a director of the Company until the expiration of his term at the Annual Meeting. The Company thanks Mr. Hoffman for his service to Reliance.
