Other Costs Other costs included in the condensed consolidated statements of operations for the three and six months ended June 30, 2022 primarily consisted of $12 million in accrued charges related to the expected resolution of the SEC investigation as further described in Note 18. Other costs also included $4.8 million and $10.6 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2022, respectively, of non-recurring legal fees related to the lawsuits discussed in Note 18, and $2.9 million and $5.5 million, respectively, of costs related to strategic acquisition and divestiture costs. Other costs for the six months ended June 30, 2021 primarily consisted of $66 million in net settlement charges as further described in Note 18. Other costs also included $6.2 million and $13.4 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2021, respectively, of non-recurring legal and accounting fees related to the Audit/Compliance Committee’s independent investigation of prior-period reporting for the former Heavy Civil operating group, which was completed in early 2021.
