SEACOR HOLDINGS ANNOUNCES INCREASE OF SECURITIES REPURCHASE AUTHORITY
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
January 18, 2012
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE:CKH) today announced that its Board of Directors has increased its authorization for repurchases of SEACORs common stock for a total authorized expenditure of up to $150 million for the purchase of such securities from the $41.8 million remaining under the Boards authorization for repurchases approved on February 18, 2010. The repurchase of securities may be conducted from time to time through open market purchases, privately negotiated transactions or otherwise depending on market conditions. During the quarter ended December 31, 2011, SEACOR acquired for treasury 843,400 shares of Common Stock for an aggregate purchase price of $72.2 million.
