(MAFB), announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a 20% increase in the quarterly cash dividend. The dividend will increase to 18 cents per share from the current level of 15 cents per share. The next cash dividend will be paid on April 3, 2003 to shareholders of record on March 13, 2003. This is the Company's ninth increase in its cash dividend in the past eight years. The Company recently reported quarterly earnings of $.85 per diluted share for the quarter ended December 31, 2002, up 10% from last year's fourth quarter results of $.77 per diluted share.
