DRI Corporation Receives Rail Vehicle Passenger Information System Order Valued at Approximately $900,000 USD

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DRI Corporation (DRI) (NASDAQ: TBUS), a digital communications technology leader in the domestic and international surface transportation and transit security markets, announced today that its Mobitec Group in Sweden has received from a Swedish railcar restoration company the confirmation of an order for Mobitec® interior and exterior sign systems and Mobitec® voice announcement systems valued at approximately $900,000 USD.

Product delivery is scheduled to commence in second quarter 2008 and should conclude by fourth quarter 2008.

David L. Turney, the Company’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “The Swedish customer, which specializes in the refurbishment of railcars, will install Mobitec® products on railcars in Stockholm’s public transportation fleet. We consider this order to be especially noteworthy because it is outside of Mobitec’s traditional bus-vehicle core market. This order reflects our strategy to expand our total available market by penetrating the rail vehicle market, as well as the aftermarket for system sales.”
