RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 5th September 2018, it transferred to participants in

its employee share schemes

3,342 Ordinary Shares at a price of €16.19 per Ordinary Share and at the prices of £15.54 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 12,479,100 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 830,911,238
