DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN Fuel Tech has a retirement savings plan available for all U.S. employees who have met minimum length-of-service requirements. Our contributions are determined based upon amounts contributed by Fuel Tech’s employees with additional contributions made at the discretion of Fuel Tech’s Board of Directors. Costs related to this plan were $455, $757, and $536 in 2012, 2011, and 2010, respectively.
