Facility Closures

Bangalore, India facility

In May 2018, the Company exited its Bangalore, India facility within the Specialty Products reportable segment. In connection with this action, the Company recorded pre-tax charges of approximately $0.7 million within selling, general and administrative expenses and approximately $0.6 million within cost of sales related to severance benefits for employees involuntarily terminated, facility closure costs and costs related to the disposal of certain assets.

Reynosa, Mexico facility

In March 2017, the Company announced plans within the Specialty Products reportable segment to cease production at its Reynosa, Mexico facility, and consolidate production into its Houston, Texas facility. During the second quarter of 2018, following entry into a sublease agreement for the facility, the Company re-evaluated its estimate of unrecoverable future obligations, and reduced its estimate by approximately $1.1 million.
