TOR Minerals to Webcast Its Second Quarter Earnings Conference Call

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, July 28, 2006 -- TOR Minerals International (Nasdaq: TORM) announced today that it will webcast its 2006 Second Quarter earnings results conference call on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. EDT, 9:00 a.m. CDT. The call will be led by Olaf Karasch, President and CEO, and Woody Haas, CFO, of TOR Minerals.

The call will be available under the News section of the company’s website at www.torminerals.com. Second Quarter results will be released after the market's close on Monday, July 31st.
