Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

In connection with Resource America, Inc.'s (the “Company”) stock repurchase program, on August 22, 2013 the Company repurchased 205,627 of its common shares at a price per share of $7.50. The repurchased shares represent approximately 1.0% of the Company's total outstanding common shares.
