Signet Group plc

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing of 1,600,000 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each in the
Company to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading.

These shares will be issued and allotted in connection with the Signet Group plc 2000 LTIP (1,000,000 shares) and the Signet Group plc
Sharesave Scheme (600,000 shares). They will rank parri passu with the existing shares in issue.
