Item 8.01. Other Events.

On August 1, 2008, Kinetic Concepts, Inc. ("KCI") announced that Linwood A. Staub, President, Global VAC, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities effective immediately. Upon the termination of Mr. Staub's employment, Catherine M. Burzik, President and Chief Executive Officer, will take over his duties on an interim basis.
