ITEM 8.01   OTHER EVENTS

      On August 31, 2007, Landauer, Inc. ("LDR") issued a News Release
announcing the declaration of a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.475
per share for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007.  The dividend will be paid
on October 5, 2007, to shareholders of record on September 14, 2007.

      A copy of the News Release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this
current report on Form 8-K.
