MBIA Inc. (the “Company”) is filing this amendment to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed on August 8, 2016, which reported the election of Francis (“Frank”) Y. Chin to the Board of Directors of the Company, effective August 4, 2016. At the time of his election, no determination had been made regarding committees of the Board on which Mr. Chin would serve. On November 3, 2016, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Chin to serve on the Finance and Risk Committee and the Compensation and Governance Committee.
