Income distributions earned by the fund totaled $1,411,574 for the period ended December 31, 2007. During the period ended December 31, 2007, cost of purchases and proceeds of sales of investments in Putnam Prime Money Market Fund aggregated $232,808,198 and $241,119,463, respectively.
