Other Expense During the three and nine months ended September 30, 2014, the Company recorded charges of $79 million for restructuring, asset impairment and related charges of which $71 million was recorded to other expense. These charges were primarily related to the Company’s Asia Pacific Restructuring. See Note 6 for additional information. During the nine months ended September 30, 2013, the Company recorded charges of $10 million to other expense for restructuring, asset impairment and related charges primarily related to the Company’s European Asset Optimization program. See Note 6 for additional information.
