On January 21, 2016 Citizens & Northern Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors has declared a dividend on its common stock of $0.26 per share, payable February 12, 2016 to shareholders of record as of February 1, 2016. Declaration of the dividend was made at the January 21, 2016 meeting of the Corporation’s Board of Directors. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Wellsboro, PA – The Board of Directors of Citizens & Northern Corporation (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: CZNC), has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.26 per share. The dividend is payable on February 12, 2016 to shareholders of record as of February 1, 2016. Declaration of the dividend was made at the January 21, 2016 meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors.
